We will not be able to accept any registrations after practice has begun. All swimmers must be registered by Friday, June 13.
About the Piranhas
Piranhas is a competitive swim team for children ages 6 to 18 with basic stroke ability who are able to swim at least one length of the pool (25 yds) in freestyle. We are one of five teams in the South Hills Summer Swim Conference (SHSSC) which includes Crafton, Greentree, Scott Twp., and South Fayette. The program runs from mid-June through the end of July with weekday practices from 9:45 to 11:00 a.m.
There are seven meets, either on weekday evenings or Saturday mornings. Children must swim in at least two of the dual meets as a precondition to qualify for the All-Stars or Championship Meet.
Age is as of June 1 of the current year. A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate must be provided at registration. Forms will be provided at registration. Payment by check, payable to MLAC, is preferred. No credit/debit cards will be accepted. General registration will be on the upper level of the Mount Lebanon Recreation Center.
Piranhas rely upon parents to volunteer their time and energies to make the program successful. Volunteer positions include: Timers, Scorekeepers, Ribbon writers, Runners, Beach Patrol, and several Official positions. Training will be provided by the SHSSC in mid June so that you can volunteer as an Official at any of the meets.

Equipment (optional)
Equipment can be ordered at registration on May 10 and May 17. Try-on suits will be available at the registration sessions. We cannot accept any apparel/equipment orders after May 31.

A team logo T-shirt is available. Sizes available are: Youth - Medium or Large, Adult - Small, Medium, Large or Extra Large.
