PLEASE WELCOME MLAC's NEW HEAD AGE GROUP COACH - KEVIN HARTBAUER !!!
MLAC is pleased to announce that Kevin Hartbauer has accepted the position of Head Age Group Coach; the board voted and has unanimously approved Kevin to serve in this capacity, starting on May 23. Additionally, Kevin will serve as our Piranhas Head Coach and will coach our Master's program.
Kevin and Head Senior Group Coach Dave Schraven will be working together to further enhance our already strong programs and bring overall consistency to our groups. Kevin has been an integral part of the Bethel Park Swim Program. There, he served as assistant age group coach and most recently, head age group coach. He is also the assistant men's swim coach for Bethel Park High School. Prior to joining Bethel, he was an assistant coach with the Mount Lebanon Aqua Club, where he worked primarily with our Stingray group. He has also been a Piranhas coach and has served as Head Lifeguard at the Mount Lebanon outdoor pool. Kevin, who is a MLAC alum, has a special talent for working with children. He knows how to motivate and inspire. In his "spare" time, he is attending college to become a teacher.

PLEASE WELCOME MLAC's NEW HEAD SENIOR GROUP COACH - DAVE SCHRAVEN !!!
MLAC is pleased to announce that Dave Schraven, MLAC's current Marlins coach, has accepted the position of Head Senior Group Coach; the board voted and has unanimously approved Dave to serve in this capacity, starting immediately. Dave and current head coach Don Wagner will work together in coaching the Sharks to ensure a smooth transition until Don's departure.
We are fortunate to have someone of Dave's caliber in our MLAC family. In addition to having a very successful career as a competitive swimmer (during which he was a 6-time high school All-American, a 2-time Jr. National Champion, an Olympic Trials participant and a member of 2 national champion teams at Stanford), Dave has been an assistant coach with our club for nearly six years. During that time, he has coached both the senior swimmers and the age group teams and has been responsible for a wide range of administrative duties.

The Mount Lebanon Aqua Club is looking for instructors for its Saturday Learn to Swim program. Prior swim instruction experience is required. 12:00 to 3:00 on Saturdays. Great pay! Please email Angela at tabahodg@verizon.net.
