Learn To Swim
Learn to Swim lessons are offered seasonally for children 4 years old and up. Lessons take place at the Mt. Lebanon High School indoor pool for all sessions with the exception of the summer when the lessons are held at the outdoor pool behind the Mt. Lebanon Recreation Department. For your child to get the best from these lessons, he or she should be able to hold onto the side of the pool, go to an instructor easily, and be able to pay attention in a group of 3 swimmers.
Our Learn to Swim program is designed to take the very beginning, but willing, swimmer and teach them the basics of swimming ability. It will enhance and refine stroke development for the more advanced swimmer. There is a 3:1 student to instructor ratio. MLAC does not offer refunds. If you are not sure whether or not your child is ready for this type of lesson, we are happy to work with you to find the best placement for your child. If you are not sure, please contact us prior to registration.
