YOUTH LEARN-TO-SWIM

We believe in water safety and water comfort, and so our Learn-to-Swim program emphasizes a progressive, skill-based curriculum which builds swimmer independence. Our terminal point for instruction sets swimmers up to transition into the world of competitive swimming, where their learned skills and techniques will further their in-water success.

PROGRAM DESIGN & STUDENT RATIOS

MLAC puts the safety of its swimmers first and values quality instruction with low teacher-to-swimmer ratios, especially for those just getting acclimated to the water. Class sizes are therefore kept small for safety and to create the best learning environment for young and beginning swimmers.

If a session is full at the time of registration, please put your swimmer's name on the waitlist. We monitor the waitlist frequently and try to place children in a session as soon as space becomes available. If you have a question about the waitlist, please reach out to Coach Leslie Becki (coachleslie@mlacswimming.com) for an update.

Our LTS program is designed utilizing the framework guided by the American Red Cross.
